AN OPTICIANS in Warminster is celebrating the dedication of two staff members after they clocked up an impressive 56 years of service between them.

The Specsavers store, located in Market Place, opened in 1989 and is now in its 28th year. Former store manager, Monica Coles, and optical assistant, Patricia Bull, are the longest serving members of the team.

Mrs Coles said: “I have been at Specsavers in Warminster since the store first opened in 1989.

“I’ve seen many customers come and go, and it has been wonderful to get to know and work alongside such a close team over the years.”

Monica and Patricia are closely followed by store director Alistair Bisatt and contact lens fitter Julie Tavener, who both have more than 20 years’ experience. Together, the team at Specsavers in Warminster have almost 200 years of service between them.

Retail director Paul Rich, who has been in the store for 14 years, said: “The store has changed a great deal over the years; we offer a wide range of both optical and hearing services to our customers, as well as the expertise of long-serving staff like Monica and Patricia.

“Monica and Patricia’s dedication to customers and to fellow colleagues is certainly reflected in their 56 years of service; they are an asset to the team.

“It is important to us that our staff provide excellent service, and it is also important to us to support our team and help them develop. We are delighted to have such loyal members of staff.”
