A MAN from Trowbridge has been arrested following a drugs bust at two locations which uncovered drugs, scales and a number of mobile phones.
Wiltshire Police executed the drug warrants at two addresses in Clothier Leaze at approximately 2.30pm yesterday (sep 22) and the 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supply of class A drugs, possession of a class A drug and possession of a class B drug.
The man was taken to custody and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
At the second address, a 36-year-old Trowbirdge man was issued with a cannabis street warning after he was found to be in possession of the drug.
PC Mark Hough said: "These two warrants were carried out as a result of community intelligence and were both positive. Community intelligence is extremely important to helping us stamp out drug activity in our areas.
"The impact of drugs on a community should never be underestimated and we take all reports of this nature seriously. I would encourage members of the public who suspect drug activity in their area to report it via 101."
