A CONTROVERSIAL planning application for a caravan at an alpaca farm in Chapmanslade has been re-submitted after it was turned down earlier this year.

The Planning Inspectorate refused to grant permission for the mobile home in Sienna’s Valley in March because it could have a detrimental impact on the landscape.

But the applicant, Sharon Snook is arguing that the mobile home is needed so she can look after her flock of alpacas every day of the week.

Chapmanslade Parish Council will discuss the application at their next meeting. Full details of the plans can be found by searching for 16/08350/FUL on Wiltshire Council’s website.
