DRIVERS are being warned to expect delays in and around Melksham this morning after two cars were involved in a collision just outside Broughton Gifford.
Two fire crews from Trowbridge, along with one from Melksham were called just after 8.30am following reports of the crash between a green Citroen and black Ford KA near Challymead.
The driver of the Citroen, was medically trapped but was cut free by crews before ambulance staff could treat her. She is not thought to be seriously injured but was taken to hospital.
The other driver was unharmed.
Traffic is also building on the other side of town on the A350 at Melksham after a 38-tonne lorry lost its trailer containing tyres on the roundabout by Western Way. Cars can pass but delays are expected in the area.
