FALCONRY displays will be held at a west Wiltshire castle this weekend.
The event at Farleigh Hungerford Castle is part of English Heritage's season of days out at sites across the south west.
There will be demonstrations of owls, hawks and falcons at the castle on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
Stories of how the birds were used during the Middle Ages will also be told to visitors.
Tickets cost £4.50 for adults, £2.80 for children and £3.60 for concessions.
Other events at Farleigh Hungerford include medieval trails and an insight into medieval life and the history of the Hungerford family in the 14th century.
Meanwhile, guided tours are being held at Old Sarum Castle in Salisbury every day at 3pm throughout June, July and August, while at Old Wardour Castle, near the city, there are Robin Hood puppetry shows and games on the weekend of 14-15 July.
