RESIDENTS at a Warminster care home geared up for the festive season with a visit to a Winter Wonderland to commemorate the re-launch of its parent care home provider.

Wren House, which is operated by Wren Retirement Living, held the seaside-themed event for residents, staff and the community, as the group celebrated the re-launch of its care homes.

As part of the celebrations, residents were treated to live entertainment and got into the festive spirit with carol songs and the home was decorated in preparation for Christmas with tinsel and artificial snow.

Ellie Simmonds, home manager at Wren House, said: “It was a lovely celebration that got everyone in the festive spirit. Our residents always enjoy the visit of family, friends and the wider community, and the party was a fitting and timely celebration. We are always looking at ways to engage with the community and will be hoping to host more events in the near future.

“I would like to thank everyone for making the celebration so special, and wish them all the best in the holiday season!”

Wren House, on Vicarage Street, is a Georgian house that provides residential care for up to 13 elderly residents, including those living with dementia.
