OFSTED inspectors have given a glowing report of a primary school in Bradford on Avon.
Christ Church Primary School achieved a good rating in many different aspects of the school.
Neil Baker, headteacher, said: "We are really delighted by this Ofsted report. The success is down to everyone who works, teaches and volunteers at Christ Church School including the administrative staff, cleaners, grounds people and kitchen staff."
The report highlighted that teaching was consistently good throughout the school with Year 6 pupils achieving above average standards in maths and science and well above in English.
Special mention was given to music. The quality of singing and playing of the very large choir and orchestra was rated as outstanding.
Extra curricular activities, where there is a strong emphasis on sports, were another strength.
The report said: "Good personal development and well-being mean that pupils are active learners and enjoy their learning opportunities.
"This is illustrated by good attendance and the very positive views that pupils have about their school. They very much enjoy their education, feel safe and demonstrate good behaviour in class and around the school."
