MELKSHAM Town saw their FA Vase exploits brought to an end as they were beaten 5-3 by the Toolstation Premier’s pacesetters Bristol Manor Farm.

Darren Perrin’s side found themselves 3-0 down at half time in their first fixture in their new Oakfields stadium.

Michael Perrott pulled one back for the hosts just after the hour mark, but all hopes of a comeback were dashed when the visitors added a fourth.

Luke Ballinger was then able to grab another for the hosts, before Manor Farm made it five, meaning Ricky Hulbert’s late effort was nothing more than a consolation.

Meanwhile in the Premier Division, Bradford Town picked up their 13th win of the season away at Bitton.

Matthew Morris put Danny Greaves’ side in front in the opening five minutes of the match as they entered the break a goal to the good.

The second half saw the visitors hit back, but it wasn’t enough as Daniel Cottle grabbed Bradford’s second with 20 minutes to go.

In the First Division Malmesbury Victoria were thumped 5-1 by Warminster Town away from home.

The hosts got their goals in the shape of Francois Allen, Joshua Ferguson, Jack Miluk and a Mark Robinson double.

Devizes Town were unable to go one better than last week’s 2-2 draw as they fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to Radstock Town.

Chippenham Park snatched a late win at Westbury United with Jamie Norman’s 92nd-minute strike.

The first half ended 1-1 as Daniel Price had his goal cancelled out by Chippenham’s Ryan Tyrell in the opening 45 minutes.

Hengrove Athletic proved too strong for Corsham Town as they slipped to a 2-1 home defeat, while Calne surrendered a 2-1 lead to eventually lose 3-2 to Oldland Abbotonians.
