Around 50 sheep which were in the barn at the time, and although some were moved to safety sadly some died in the fire.
The flames destroyed about 500 tonnes of hay which was being stored in the barn.
It is believed the fire started in an adjacant building and spread to the barn. It was spotted by members of the public, who dialled 999, just after 11.30pm.
