WILTSHIRE Police is appealing for anyone who witnessed the disorder at The Albany Palace in Trowbridge at the weekend to come forward including those who may have witnessed a second altercation in the town centre.

Police officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed or was involved in an altercation between two men and involved a group of 12 outside Santander in Fore Street after the Albany Palace incident on Sunday, February 12.

Acting Inspector Louis McCoy said: "We would like to speak to anyone who was at the venue at the time of the disorder or who happened to be in town around this time. If you were assaulted or involved in anyway - please contact us.

"We'd also like to speak to you if you were in the pub before or after the incident and heard or saw anything suspicious or anyone acting suspiciously.

"In reference to the assault outside Santander, we would again urge anyone who was in that area to come forward to help with our enquiries; were you part of the group or did you see it first-hand, if so please contact us.

"What you think is insignificant could be key to our investigation."

If you can help with our enquiries please contact the Trowbridge Community Policing Team on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
