A MAN arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following the death of a man in Trowbridge has been released with no further police action.

The 20-year-old local man was arrested on 10 February 2017 following the incident on 9 February in which 30-year-old Kieren Church, of no fixed abode, died. 

Kieren Church, 30, died at around 3pm in the car park of the Asda supermarket in Bythesea Road after falling on broken glass which was concealed under his coat which he is thought to have stolen from a local supermarket. Despite best efforts from members of the emergency services, Mr Church died from the injuries he had sustained from falling on the glass.

An investigation is being conducted for a report to be passed to the H M Coroner for Wiltshire.
