TOBY Carvery has announced the date on which it will open its new restaurant in Trowbridge.

The major UK chain, which specialises in roast dinners, will open up in the Cradle Bridge Retail Park on Monday, May 22.

Following months of extensive work, the restaurant will have capacity to serve 160 diners and employ 40 people.

Andrew Wiles, general manager at Toby Carvery Trowbridge, said: “There’s nothing better than enjoying the perfect roast, and that’s just what Toby Carvery is all about.

“Bringing Toby Carvery to Trowbridge is a fantastic opportunity and we look forward to providing great value, tender, slow-cooked family roasts made the way they should be.

“From hand ruffled, crunchy spuds, to crisp and fluffy Yorkshire puddings, guests will be able to enjoy the perfect roast dinner every day.

“We just can’t wait for the people of Trowbridge and the surrounding areas to visit us and experience their brand-new Toby Carvery.”

For early birds the restaurant will be opening its doors at 8am serving breakfast including an ‘all you can eat’ offer.

The restaurant has also announced its charity partnership with The Royal British Legion, which will see it support the charity with fundraising initiatives over the next two years.

It is aiming to raise £100,000 for The Royal British Legion by the end of 2018.
