PRINCE William is in Warminster for the final stages of his army reconnaissance training.

The prince arrived at the camp on Monday July 2 and will be resident while he completes his training at the Land Warfare Centre in Imber Road.

Major Roddy Mellotte, a spokesman for Headquarters Warminster Garrison said: "He has been here for a couple of weeks now and has about four weeks left to do. It is a career-enhancing course.

"He is treated no differently from the other students. Obviously certain measures have been taken to ensure his safety but when he's doing his stuff just like everyone else."

William graduated from Sandhurst in December and began a four-and-a-half month training programme at Bovington Camp in Dorset.

He then spent six weeks at Lulworth for gunnery training and is now in the final stages of the army reconnaissance course with his final four weeks being completed in Warminster.

Since his arrival William has been spotted riding his motorcycle and showing his pass at the gates.

His younger brother Prince Harry was in the town for military training last year, and was spotted in several west Wiltshire pubs and bars.
