STUDENTS at Matravers school in Westbury enjoyed a night of mocktails and mock casinos as they celebrated the end of school with a prom to be remembered.

The celebrations mark the end of a five year chapter at the school, and the start of the next stage in their education or working lives.

Headteacher at Matravers school Dr Riding said: ”We are extremely proud of our Class of 2017 who are filled with enthusiasm and a passion for their learning.

“They have routinely demonstrated how successful they are throughout their time at school. We look forward to welcoming the vast majority back to our Sixth Form in September to continue their educational journey.”

The year 11 students arrived at Cumberwell Park in Bradford on Avon dressed in their tailored suits in style, including by limousine and sports cars. One student even arrived by helicopter!
