Wiltshire Police are appealing for information following a collision where the driver failed to stop at the scene.

The incident happened at approximately 9:30am on Thursday 13th July, on the A36 between Codford and Stapleford when a grey van failed to stop after pulling out of a line of oncoming traffic heading towards Salisbury.

The new looking grey van collided with a white Dacia Sandero which was travelling in the direction of Warminster.

A white Kia Venga which was behind the Dacia witnessed the accident and had to swerve, closely avoiding the van.

It was hit by debris and sustained minor damage, the Dacia sustained extensive damage.

Police are calling for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward, or anyone who may be able to identify the van involved.
