A TOTAL of 1,000 tonnes of straw went up in flames at a farm in Wingfield in what the owners believe was an arson attack.
Fire crews from Pewsey, Trowbridge and Westbury are currently tackling the blaze, that began at around 6pm, at Arnolds Hill Farm, off the A366. The straw was in a new 40x30m barn.
The farm owners believe it was arson as they saw youngsters running away from the scene. It is believed no animals were harmed.
