Wiltshire Police are appealing for information following an incident which occurred at the brow of the hill as you enter Southwick from Trowbridge, on Frome Road.
A 28-year-old man was driving home from work on Monday October 9 at around 6.30pm when a red Land Rover, with a partial registration number R845 drove onto the wrong side of the road at speed, towards the man's car.
As a result, the man was forced to mount the curb to avoid hitting the Land Rover. The Land Rover then continued into Southwick.
PC Sarah Greenman said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident and has information about the vehicle or the person driving it. Were you in the area at the time? Did you see any erratic driving? Any information you have could really help our investigation."
Anyone with information should call police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
