AVEBURY has been taken over by ghoulish games and terrifying trails to celebrate Halloween.
Hazel Berry-Scott, senior visitor experience officer at Avebury, said: “Our spooky trail has been popular as children search for cats and complete the Samhain song.
“For those who aren’t spooked easily, the Tudor bedroom has been blacked out and covered in candles, with visitors invited to lie down on the bed and listen to John Aubrey recount some of his more ghostly stories over headphones. Brave the creepy room until Tuesday.” Families can be scared at Avebury until Sunday afternoon.
