MP Andrew Murrison has hit out at the company that does the maintenance work at the Castle Mead estate for failing to look after its residents.
Residents currently pay £111.36 a year to GreenSquare, but they feel they are not getting value for money due to problems with litter, poor grass cutting and damage to open spaces.
Next month the MP will walk round the Trowbridge estate to see the extent of the issue.
“GreenSquare has failed to match up to expectations and they’ve failed residents in a number of aspects. We’ll discuss remediation issues too,” he said.
"There is a more general issue around management of new estates and the ability of residents to have their say.
"I will be in contact with Wiltshire Council and ministers about adopting streets. This is a complex issue that is a nationwide problem."
