A MOTORCYCLIST is in a stable condition following a collision in Trowbridge on Wednesday afternoon.
The collision, between a motorbike and a Peugeot 206, happened at approximately 1.30pm outside Tesco Express, Frome Road.
The driver of the Peugeot was travelling towards Southwick while the motorcyclist was travelling in the opposite direction when the collision occurred.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s from Westbury, sustained serious injuries including an injury to his leg, and was taken to Southmead Hospital. He is currently in a stable condition.
The driver of the Peugeot was not injured.
The road was closed for approximately three-and-a-half hours while the scene was cleared and an investigation was carried out.
