A FREEMASONS Lodge that celebrates its 150th anniversary next year has raised £2,000 for the Dorothy House Hospice at Winsley.
Members of the Lodge of Friendship and Unity Number 1271 in Bradford on Avon raised the funds from a ladies festival at the Leigh Park Hotel.
The Lodge’s Past Master for 2017, Mark Griffiths, said: “Raising money for charity is in a Freemason’s DNA.
“Freemasons from Lodge 1271 in Bradford on Avon were delighted to present a cheque for £2,000 to Yvonne Brunton, Community Fundraiser for Dorothy House.”
Next year, the Friendship and Unity Lodge will celebrate its 150th anniversary of meeting in Bradford on Avon.
