A judge has imposed a restraining order to prevent a man's wife and son from contacting him.
Pauline Baxter, 60, and 22-year-old Liam each admitted assaulting the dad when they appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
The pair, of West Ashton Road, Trowbridge, were both put on a two year conditional discharge and made subject to five year restraining orders.
Mrs Baxter had been due to face trial accused of controlling or coercive behaviour but that charge was dropped when she admitted battery and common assault.
Liam was charged with actual bodily harm on Tuesday July 4 last year but pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of common assault.
