POLICE are looking for three men who hospitalised a 20-year-old man after fracturing his cheekbone in an unprovoked attack in Warminster.

The force are appealing for witnesses over the incident where the victim, who was wearing skinny jeans and a grey jacket, was walking in Weymouth Street, before being ambushed by the perpetrators.

The first man is described as white with short black hair, stubble on his face and aged in his early 20's. He was wearing trackie bottoms.

The second man is described as white, with blond hair, stubble and wearing a green parka jacket with the hood up. It is believed he was aged in his mid 20's.

The third man had short hair which was spiky at the front and he was wearing a black puffa jacket.

Detective Constable Justine Parsons said: "This was a sustained and unprovoked attack by three men which left the victim with a fractured cheekbone.

"He was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath for treatment.

"Enquiries have been ongoing into this incident and we have been obtaining any suitable CCTV footage available to us.

"We believe there are witnesses to this attack who have not yet made contact with police. If this was you, please get in touch."
