It was a first for Bradford on Avon Jazz Club when on two consecutive sessions bands from The Netherlands were featured at the Mount Pleasant club. In April it was the Freetime Old Dixie Jass Band and in May the Storyville Jassband played for another capacity audience, The Storyville was first formed fifty nine years ago in Arnhem and now draws musicians from throughout Holland. The band is photographed arriving at the old school which is the unusual jazz club venue.
For the rest of the year the club will be presenting at its monthly sessions the best traditional and New Orleans style bands from throughout Britain.
