POLICE are still appealing for information after a 20-year-old man was assaulted in an unprovoked attack in Warminster last month.

The victim, who was wearing skinny jeans and a grey jacket, was walking in Weymouth Street when he was targeted by three men who assaulted him during the early hours of Sunday April 1.

The first man involved in the attack is described as white with short black hair, stubble on his face and aged in his early 20s. He was wearing trackie bottoms.

The second man is described as white, with blonde hair, stubble and wearing a green parka jacket with the hood up. It is believed he was aged in his mid 20s.

The third man had short hair which was spiky at the front and he was wearing a black puffa jacket.

Detective Constable Justine Parsons said: “This was a sustained and unprovoked attack by three men which left the victim with a fractured cheekbone. He was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath for treatment.

“Enquiries have been ongoing into this incident and we have been obtaining any suitable CCTV footage available to us.

"We believe the people pictured would have witnessed the attack and we would like to speak to them immediately."
