A GROUP of old friends came together after more than 30 years at a class of 1985 school reunion at the weekend.
More than 80 former Kingdown classmates met up at the Old Bell in Warminster and danced the night away at an 80s themed disco which lasted into the early hours of the morning.
One of the organisers, Debbie Martin, said: “What a night, thank you to all who attended and made this a very memorable occasion.
“Some sat reminiscing in the garden area and many hugged the bar for the duration, many danced the night away. It’s fair to say that this venue hasn’t seen an event like this for some time.
“We understand that friends come and go, but for the precious few you should hold on to and work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you knew when you were young.”
The group plans to meet up for another reunion in September 2020, 35 years since leaving school.
