LOCAL businessmen and women met up last week at a professional breakfast hosted at Henford House Care Home in Warminster.

Professionals from various care organisations within the community met and networked over breakfast provided by the home.

Guests were shown around the home and future business ventures were discussed.

Vivian Laurent, general manager, at Henford House said: “Henford House is keen to be part of the community and our professional breakfast allows individuals from the care industry to meet and connect with one another.

“It’s a great chance to share experiences of working within the care sector, make new contacts within the community, and of course, enjoy our wonderful spread provided by our hospitality team.

“The event went really well. It was a great networking meeting and everybody was happy and positive.

“Guests had a chance to take a tour of the home, and we also discussed care, support to each other regarding residents’ activities with a view to focus on more outings.

“It was an opportunity for me to share information about our latest campaigns and our lunch club, which is free and beneficial for those who live alone.

“We also have a spare quiet room upstairs which can be used as a meeting room, lunches and other activities.”

Henford House care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which delivers personalised care across its homes and hospitals.

Henford House provides nursing and residential care for 53 residents from respite care to long-term stays.
