MORE than 100 youngsters shared scientific discoveries at the Melksham Big Science Share event at Melksham Oak Community School.
The two hour event on Tuesday saw children from a cluster group of eight local primary schools and the secondary school Year 7 pupils work together.
Supported by the Primary Science Teaching Trust and Bath Taps into Science, the children shared their sports science discoveries in a day of science fun.
There was a whole host of hands-on activities designed by the children to take part in, as well as a presentation from Bath University and a live Skype link up with Manchester University.
Andrea Liddiard, science subject leader at Churchfields the Village School and one of the organisers of the Big Science Share, said: “It was a really great event.
“It was lovely to see the children sharing their ideas and explaining their findings to each other.
“They also enjoyed visiting Melksham Oak.”
