A 20-YEAR-old man was arrested in Trowbridge on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs.

Police officers from dedicated crime teams across Wiltshire joined with partner agencies to focus on protecting vulnerable people at risk of exploitation from drugs gangs.

On July 4, officers visited the address of a vulnerable person and they found the 20-year-old London man there too.

After being arrested, officers found drugs paraphernalia, cash and mobile phones inside the house.

The man has been released on conditional bail whilst the police continue their investigation.

Detective Inspector Paul Franklin said: “County lines drugs gangs will often exploit young people or vulnerable adults to help move and store drugs and money.”

Over the week, officers and partner agencies spoke to 23 vulnerable people across Wiltshire.
