PEOPLE in Warminster had their say on Brexit as the national campaign for a people’s vote on the final Brexit deal was brought to the town by the Bath for Europe group.

The Brexitometer was brought to the town to help gauge the views of members of the public.

The poster asks five questions about Brexit and is a useful starting point for conversations.

A common view was on of uncertainty over the impact of Brexit on the NHS and farmers, areas of huge public interest.

Bath for Europe supporter Alan Champneys, who helped run the poll, said: “Our aim was to engage people with Brexit. Two years on from the Referendum, a lot of information about the impact of Brexit has come to light, but we still have no proposal from the government about what a deal will actually look like. Both those who voted Leave and those who voted Remain are feeling frustrated.

“We live in a democracy and people can change their minds.”
