FORMER EastEnders star and 1980s pop icon Martin Kemp will perform a DJ set in aid of terminally ill father Nick Jones’ foundation.
The Spandau Ballet band member will play at Trowbridge Civic Centre on October 6 to raise funds for the Foundation for Bereavement, set up by Mr Jones in April.
Nick, from Westbury, was diagnosed with malignant hypertension, a condition which attacks the heart and internal organs, after suffering a stroke in 2012.
Having lost both his parents to heart conditions, Mr Jones set up the Nick Jones Foundation for Bereaved Children in honour of his own children.
Mr Kemp will be joined by special guests DJ Ricky Grover and DJ Martin Weeks on the night.
Mr Kemp is not the only celebrity to help Mr Jones’ cause as singer Peter Andre said that he would be part of a team expedition to climb up part of Mount Everest in October.
Tickets are now sold out.
