A MOTHER and son have decided to do a sponsored head shave to thank Larkrise Community Farm for helping them over the years.
Damian Chilcott, of Langley Burrell, has loved going to the farm, West Ashton Road, Trowbridge, for the last 17 years.
The 37-year-old, who has severe learning difficulties and a condition called phenylketonuria that results in a decreased metabolism of amino acids, helps out there five times a week, cleaning the place and looking after the animals, among other roles.
Now Damian and his mum, Lorraine Payne, are going to brave the shave for the farm on August 28 at 11am.
“We want to give something back to a place that has been so fantastic to Damian for so long,” said Mrs Payne.
“I don’t know what we would have done without the farm so this is out way of giving back to them.”
