REIN & Shine Equestrian Centre has been chosen as a new provider to Wiltshire College students at Lackham starting in September.

The centre, based at Braydon, near Malmesbury. is a certified British Horse Society Centre. It runs a livery stables, competition centre, riding school, education and riding courses and a Hoof Club.

Lackham College will use its equestrian facilities for four days a week during student term times to cover Level 2 and the first year of Level 3 in Horse Care and Management.

Lackham students will benefit from some of the best equestrian facilities in the area at the centre.

Rein & Shine proprietor Johanna McDonald, who runs the centre with husband, John, said: “With our excellent facilities and as existing training tutors for our highly commended BHS riding school, livery yard and competition centre, we are fully equipped to take on these two courses.

“We pride ourselves on providing a friendly, relaxed, safe and secure environment in which students can really thrive.”

The centre will provide all riding and tuition using their own qualified and experienced instructors coupled with 25 well-trained horses. Excellent riding arenas and fields will help students become well-established riders.

Wiltshire College will also be using the facilities for practical training and learning, much of which will be done in the Centre’s two classrooms which are fully-equipped for learning.

By enrolling with Wiltshire College, students will benefit from expert teaching from industry-trained staff.

They are able to study in realistic environments with excellent facilities and access to comprehensive support networks and links to an extensive range of employers.
