AN autumn fashion campaign has been launched by local hospice Dorothy House in 21 of its charity clothing stores and on social media.

Called ‘Love This Look’ the campaign showcases fashion trend ideas to inspire shoppers to stand out from the crowd in pre-loved clothes.

All outfits are being sourced from Dorothy House’s 28 shops by the charity’s retail administrator, Ben Woodland.

He will be styling a range of Autumn trends at a variety of prices to suit every budget.

Rowena Midgeley, Head of Retail at Dorothy House said: “We are constantly amazed at the high quality and diversity of clothing donated to the charity and the campaign aims to inspire people to look for unique outfits for less in our charity shops.”

The discount code is on the charity’s social media channels from September 23 to October 6. Shoppers can post photos to @dorothyhouseshops on www.instagram.com using the hashtag #LoveThisLook.

Ben’s chosen outfits will be available to buy in the Dorothy House, Bridge Street shop from 9.30am on Saturday, October 13 to raise money to support palliative and end-of-life care for hospice patients, their families and carers.

The campaign also highlights Ben’s career journey at Dorothy House as he chose to work for the hospice following the outstanding care given to his family before his father died in 2014.

Dorothy House cares for over 3,000 patients, family members and carers every year across Wiltshire, Somerset and Bath and North East Somerset.

All profit generated from the hospice’s retail shops goes towards funding vital patient care and for every £1 Dorothy House receives from the NHS, they have to raise a further £4 to provide their services to the community.

Ben Woodland said: “My Dad, was excellently cared for by Dorothy House in 2014 before he sadly passed away.

“I was so impressed by the ethos of the hospice and the care shown to my Dad that soon after his death I applied to work for Dorothy House’s Retail Team as a shop manager.

“Now I work in the head office and we’re responsible for 120 retail staff and 650 volunteers.”

“In the ‘Love This Look’ campaign I am styling men’s outfits from our Autumn season on Instagram to show our customers that you can dress well and on trend with a smaller budget.

“My aim is to show off the amazing quality of clothing donations we receive from our fantastic supporters including items from the high street to iconic, high-end fashion brands.”
