CARE home in Bradford on Avon Wiltshire Heights was given outstanding status in the its your neighbourhood category of community gardens and groups in the South West in Bloom competition.
Plans were laid earlier in the year to encourage community engagement and the sensory garden with water feature was created by the Trowbridge Police Cadets.
They also had input from even younger members of their community including the children from Westview Nursery who planted up some of the beds at the home.
Sharon Adams, home manager at Wiltshire Heights said: “This is such an achievement and I am so proud of everyone involved.
"From the garden that we had to now is like night and day.
"The residents like to take ownership of their pots and plants and have pride in being part of such a beautiful environment. There are lots of people to thank who helped make the garden a success."
