TROWBRIDGE Museum is holding a series of events as part of the Veterans Weekend celebration at the end of June.

Visitors have the chance to find out what life was like during the Second World War.

A costumed actor will be talking about life on the home front, and there will be veterans in the museum throughout the week.

It's an opportunity to hear the stories these former soldiers and airmen have to tell.

Veterans activities take place in the education room and throughout the museum on Tuesday June 24, Wednesday 25 and Friday 27 between 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm.

On Thursday June 26 Roundstone School will be taking part in two specially created education workshops here in the museum.

On Saturday June 28 the museum will be in the park taking part in Spotlight on Trowbridge.

There will be a display based on the towns wartime Spitfire production, and children can have a go at making a WW2 toy in a free make and take workshop.
