GARDENERS, growers and the green-fingered took part in an annual horticultural show near Warminster at the weekend.
The occasion was the 41st Sutton Veny Flower Show, which also takes in the neighbouring villages of Bishopstrow, Tytherington and Norton Bavant.
With nearly 1,000 exhibits the long running show featured a wide range of attractions.
Locals showed off their best examples of fruit, vegetables and flowers as well as cakes and handicraft.
There was a host of winners and runners up and the Best in Show award went to Valerie Hopkins from Sutton Veny for her floral display.
Valerie King, one of the organisers, said: "She created a wonderful floral entry using a bicycle as a centrepiece for a myriad of flowers. It was beautiful."
The weather held off for the event, which took place on Saturday and was held at the Alexander Memorial Field in Sutton Veny.
Other activities included a dog show, falconry, pony trap rides, cake baking, flower arranging, raffle, skittles, coconut shy and ice cream stalls.
The prizes were presented to the winners on the day by the Honourable Anna Addington who lives nearby.
Profits from the show, which are expected to be more than £1,000, will be put back in to the four villages that take part in the event.
