ARTISTS are urged to come forward for the largest visual arts event in Wiltshire.
Organisers of the 5th Wylye Valley Art Trail are already calling for artists and organisations to come forward to help make next year's event a thriving success.
The festival will run from Saturday May 30 until Saturday June 7.
The aim of the event is to celebrate the quality of work produced by local artists and artisans, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, furniture making, photography and much more.
The 5th biennial WVAT will comprise a number of "Open Studio" exhibitions and events that are to be staged within a 12-mile radius of Warminster, offering talks, workshops, demonstrations hands-on experiences and a chance to purchase a unique piece of work.
The closing date for those wishing to participate is December 15.
For more information go online to www.wvat.co.uk or contact the event co-ordinator Nick Andrew at: info@wvat.co.uk.
