College rebuild plans on track

Comments (0)FUNDING is on the verge of being secured for a £29m campus at Wiltshire College Chippenham.
The project will be funded by the college and the Learning and Skills Council.
A new three-storey building, which would include a restaurant and hair and beauty salon, features in the plan, which would see the current campus in Cocklebury Road knocked down.
An outline planning application was submitted by the college last week.
Work is scheduled to start in June 2009 and the campus could be fully operational by July 2011.
