WARMINSTER Town player-boss Jason Guy says his team have proved they are "a force to be reckoned with" after they claimed another shock win in the Wiltshire Senior Cup.

Guy's side have dumped out higher league opposition in Calne Town and Devizes Town on their way to the semi-finals, and Guy says prospective opponents will not take his team lightly.

He said: "I think we've proven ourselves to be a force to be reckoned with.

"Teams aren't going to come here with the attitude, 'We're going to beat these'.

"We've got some good footballers, everyone works for one another and we score good goals."

Guy was delighted with the performance against Calne that saw his team into the last four.

He said: "It's our last cup and they (the players) were just well up for it.

"I think we definitely deserved it. We soaked up everything pretty well and counter-attacked really well.

"Everyone's come off battered and bruised but I'm so impressed with the way the lads stuck together and caused another big upset.

"It does mean so much to the boys and me and the club itself."
