DEVIZES Town’s Toolstation League future looks a little more secure this week, according to joint manager Shaun Moffat.

The club held an emergency meeting in mid-January to find a new chairman, secretary and committee members in time for next season.

But no one put themselves up for the role and it was feared the club would have to resign from the league.

However, it now appears that the club will not have to take this drastic measure.

Moffat said: “I think we’ve got a chairman coming forward and there’s someone in for the secretary’s job.”

The club hope there will be further developments at a committee meeting on Monday, where anyone wishing to join is invited to attend.
