500 NHS places in Westbury snapped up within a day

The first 500 places at a new NHS dentist in Westbury were snapped up within the first day.
A surgery has opened at Westbury Hospital in The Butts by Westbury Dental Practice and 500 patients have already signed up after registration opened at 9am on Monday.
The practice will take a further 2,000 patients over the next 12 months and NHS Wiltshire have confirmed a second practice, offering a further 2,500 NHS places, will open this summer.
Sharon Charity, spokesman for NHS Wiltshire, said: “There were people waiting outside at 7am in the morning and the queue was snaking all the way around the hospital. The first check-ups for new patients started yesterday so it’s been a quick turnaround.There will be another chance to register very soon.”
