Trowbridge salon boosts skin charity

Salon owner Emma Edwards is on a mission to raise money to promote research into skin cancer while making people aware of the dangers of sun beds.

Mrs Edwards runs the Obsessions TLC salon in Sycamore Grove, Trowbridge, which offers a safer way to tan, with both spray tan and fake tan treatments.

The salon has raised more than £10,000 towards cancer related charities at the RUH, Bath, over the years, and now Mrs Edwards, 42, is supporting Raft, a skin cancer and burns and wounds charity.

She also plans a sponsored slim for January. For more details on the charity, log on to www.raft.ac.uk.
