Leading Conservative Ken Clarke is paying a visit to Chippenham and Melksham today.
The Shadow Business Secretary will stop at Avon Rubber, at Hampton Park West in Semington, near Melksham, with Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, the Conservative candidate for the Chippenham seat.
They are expected to talk to business leaders from the community in a bid to shore up publicity surrounding the closely-fought election campaign.
Mr Emmanuel-Jones is joined in the race for the constituency by Duncan Hames, for the Liberal Democrats, Greg Lovell for the Labour party, Samantha Fletcher for the Green Party, Julia Reid for UKIP, Jon Maguire for the English Democrats, Richard Sexton for the Christian Party, and Michael Simpkins for the BNP.
