Health conscious students at Clarendon College in Trowbridge have enlisted the help of a Hilperton man planning a mammoth trek to the South Pole.
Justin Miles, who featured previously in the Wiltshire Times, took time out of his training for the mission in October to visit students taking part in a Young Chamber scheme, to develop a healthy lifestyle programme for the entire school.
They are aiming to get fellow pupils eating healthily and exercising regularly.
Mr Miles said: “The students love the idea of running a project to influence everyone’s lifestyle. This can’t be something that they do and then just forget – it needs to be life-changing.”
‘Aspire to Excellence’ is being guided by David Baker, president of the Trowbridge Chamber of Commerce.
He said: “The Young Chamber students will also fundraise for Justin’s Great Heart Challenge in which they’ll set their own challenges and raise money for the British Heart Foundation.”
