Outgoing president Brian Taylor welcomes Hafida Sarachi, new president Anthony Smith and Ellenor Bland
CHAMBER NEWS: Anthony Smith has been elected president of Wootton Bassett Chamber of Commerce. He takes over from Brian Taylor.
Mr Smith was elected at the chamber's annual meeting along with other new officers.
Ellenor Bland is vice- president and Hafida Sarachi becomes junior vice-president.
Mr Smith said: "The chamber has a dynamic and progressive new committee.
"We are looking forward to continuing to promote and support local businesses and are keen to provide fresh ideas to enhance Wootton Bassett's already excellent reputation as a town with variety."
Following the meeting Colin Cruse and students from Wootton Bassett School gave a presentation on their participation in a Government pilot scheme, Learning to Work.
