Princes delight huge crowds

Royal brothers Prince William and Prince Harry attracted a crowd of more than 4,000 to Wiltshire for an annual polo tournament on Saturday.

In one of the biggest events in the polo calendar Prince Harry was the star for the Army with three goals in their victory over the Royal Navy in the Rundle Cup at Tidworth.

The Army conceded a one and a half point handicap but won the contest by a resounding eight goals to three and a half and Prince Harry delighted spectators with an outstanding display of speed, horsemanship and polo skills in the scorching sunshine.

His older brother Prince William turned out for the Combined Services team which beat South Africa to lift the Indian Cavalry Officers Trophy.

And in what was a clean sweep of wins for members of the Royal family, Zara Phillips, the daughter of Princess Anne, led a team of eventers in a charity match that included a chukka on bicycles rather than ponies, as well as taking part in a polo contest.

During the afternoon, spectators were treated to a freefall parachute display by the Royal Armoured Corps and Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
