A MAN in his early twenties has been rushed to after the car he was travelling in careered off the road and into a tree near Westbury.
The collision happened on the Westbury Road in Edington at about 8.40am this morning.
The red Volkswagen Golf rolled off the road and crashed into a tree.
The driver of the car, a woman aged 21, was assessed by doctors at the scene and did not need to go to hospital but the passenger, a 21-year-old man, had back and neck pain and was taken to Salisbury District Hospital.
The road is currently closed while the car is recovered.
