NOMINATIONS have opened for the annual Trowbridge civic awards.
The awards, which are run by the town council, recognise people who have made a contribution to the welfare of the people of Trowbridge.
Their work may have come from a direct or indirect effort in the form of community services, charitable work, a personal effort or any self-sacrifice.
Nomination forms are available from the Trowbridge Town Council offices at 10/12 Fore Street, by calling 01225 765072 or by visiting the town council’s website at www.trowbridge.gov.uk.
This year’s winner was Ros Histed, who had worked as churchwarden at St James’ Church.
Forms for the 2012 award must be completed and signed by a proposer and seconder, who must be residents of Trowbridge and countersigned by a member of the council, by December 31.
