METAL, tools and farming equipment were stolen from properties in the Warminster and Westbury areas last week.

Overnight on October 26 and 27 someone forced open storage containers at a business in the West Wilts Trading Estate in Westbury and attempted to remove metal items before being disturbed.

Between October 28 and November 1, stainless steel was stolen from a different business on the estate.

At the same time, thieves took a steel A-frame towing bar from a farm in Monkton Deverill. Sheets of aluminum and tools were stolen from a site in Limpers Hill, Warminster on Sunday or Monday, while on Tuesday sheep hurdles and gates were taken from a site in Chalford.
